ISLAMABAD, (APP):Trade delegations and business visitors from 12 countries showed their interest in developing business connection with local entrepreneurs in local merchandise and services sectors.
Interest to this regard was developed by the participants of 10th edition of Expo Pakistan held at Karachi Expo Centre, which is the leading trade fair in Pakistan, showcasing the largest collection of Pakistan’s export merchandise and services. Pakistan Stone Development Company (PASDEC) also participated in the event and showcased their collection of merchandise and services.
The trade delegations and business visitors from 12 countries including China, Korea, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Uzbekistan, Czech Republic and Bangladesh showed their interest for developing business connection with local entrepreneurs. The delegates from UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Thailand and Italy also showed their interest in developing business connection with local entrepreneurs.
The four-day Expo Pakistan has become the primary sourcing point for a large number of businesses worldwide, which was visited by 20,000 business visitor from 80 countries.In EXPO Pakistan, several companies showcased their product under the umbrella of Pakistan Stone Development Company including Waheed Marble, Frontier Works Organization (FWO), Hussain Trading, Popular Marble Industries, Millat Marble , Skyworld Corporations, Mehran Marble and Balochistan Minerals.
Pakistan Stone Development Company facilitated the representative from IMM Carrara Mr. Marco Antonio Ragone to study in depth about marble industry of the country. In a statement CEO PASDEC Zahid Maqsood Sheikh has applauded the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) role in recognizing true potential of marble and granite sector of the country.
He said that Pakistan Stone Development Company (PASDEC) was striving for the development of the marble and granite sector of Pakistan, he added. With the recognition of TDAP as well as the government, he said that the marble and granite sector would bring more investment and stability in dimensional stone sector of Pakistan.
