Swabi: The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Pervez Khattak said that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridors (CPEC) route was selected secretly without informing the opposition parties. In the groundbreaking ceremony of Swat Motorway in Swabi, he said that Swat motorway is an important project for the province whereas the Metro bus plan worth 32 billion rupees would soon be started in Peshawar with China’s collaboration.

He alleged that CPEC was hidden from the opposition parties like it government’s personal project.

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Siraj-ul-Haq also criticized the government and asked the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to take Pervez Khattak along with him on his visits.
