Divisional Competitions Of National Youth Carnival To Start From Nov 6: DG Youth

PESHAWAR, Nov 02 (APP):The Divisional rounds of the National Youth Carnival will be kicking off from November 6 wherein more than 10,000 male and female students from around 200 educational institutions will take part.
This was stated by Director General Youth Khyber Asfandyar Khan Khattak while talking to APP here on Thursday. He said the first phase of the trials have already been completed wherein more than 25,000 students from public and private sectors universities and more than 120 colleges from all across the province took part.
He said students of the each educational institution, Madras, and trials points setup in various districts took part in the trials and out of that 25,000 youth a total of 10,000 has been short-listed for the Divisional Round to be kicking off from November 6.
Out of that 10,000 students in 31 different categories put in for competitions, the top and winning teams would be short-listed to represent Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the forthcoming National Youth Carnival, he added.
It is a golden opportunity for the youth to come on at national level before showing their hidden talent out of the thousands of participants, Asfandyar added. Through open trials, he said, good talented youth come up besides giving due opportunities to each and every youth of the province to test their hidden talent in front of the qualified selectors.
After final short-listing, the youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would compete against a total of 30,000 youth of 215 educational institutions of Pakistan will be coming to provincial capital to participate in the of National Youth Carnival Mega Challenge-2017 to be organized in December this year.
The trials for the first phase has already been completed well in time wherein students of Quiad-e-Azam College of Commence, Government College Peshawar, Khyber Law College, University of Peshawar, University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar, University of Agriculture, Forest University Peshawar, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, Swabi University, Women University Mardan, University of Engineering and Technology Mardan, NUST Kohat, Hazara University, Post Graduate College No. 2 Dera Ismail Khan, Government Girls Degree College Sarai Saleh, Government Post Graduate Gunj, UET Abbottabad, Comsats Abbottabad, Ayub Medical College Abbottabad, Gomal University Dera Ismail Khan, Bannu, Post Gradudate College No. 2 Dera Ismail Khan, Post Graduate CollegeNo. 1 Dera Ismail Khan, Govt Girls Degree College Lakki Marwat, University of Science and Technology Kohat and Bannu, Govt Degree College Sorani, Bannu, Govt Girls Degree College Mandan, Bannu, UET Bannu, Medical College Bannu, Malakand Division Saidu Sharif Medical College, Govt Post Graduate College Jehnazeb, Swat, Post Graduate College Matta Swat, University of Swat, Govt Degree College Alpuri Shangla, University of Swat Shangla, Post Graduate College Timalghara Dir Lower, University of Malakand, University of Buner, Degree College Buner along with all Religious Madras took part in the trials before final teams were made.
Now after the selection of the short-listed players they would represented their respective institutions in the Divisional competitions before a final and winner teams would represent Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the National Youth Carnival-2017.
