Govt Committed To Protect Rights Of Traders: PM

ISLAMABAD, Jan 19 (APP): Prime Minister on Friday said as the trader community had an important role in the country’s economic progress, the present democratic government was committed to protecting their rights.

The Prime Minister expressed these views during the meeting with a delegation of Anjuman-e-Tajran Islamabad, which called on him, led by its Muhammad Ajmal Baloch, here at the PM’s Office.
Minister of for Capital Administration Division (CAD) Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Member National Malik Abrar Ahmad were also present in the meeting.

The delegation apprised the prime minister of the problems faced by the trader community of Islamabad in general and the issue of rental laws in particular and requested him to help address the problems.
The prime minister assured the trader community of Islamabad of resolving their problems soon. He directed the Minister of State for CAD Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry to take steps regarding the legislation to address the problems of Islamabad traders on a priority basis.

He also directed to remove bottlenecks in the way of resolving other problems of trading centres in Islamabad.

Other members of the delegation included Asghar Abbasi, Khalid Mehmood Chaudhry, Muhammad Irfan Chaudhry, Amad Bin Arif, Shehzad Abbas, Abdur Rehman Siddiqui, Sardar Tahir, Amanullah Cheema, Kamran Ali Shah, Muhammad Aslam Khan, Akhar Hussain Abbasi, Awais Mehmood, Zulfiqar Ahmad, Mehmood Yusuf, Waqas Gujjar, Zafar Iqbal Gujjar, Abid Khan, Syed Altaf Shah, Asif Mehmood, Muhammad Afsar Khan, Shahid Mehmood, Saeedullah Khan, Nazar Abbasi, Dildar Abbasi, Nazeer Awan, Chaudhry Riasat and Zahid Satti.
