Intelligence Agencies Warns Of Attacks On CPEC Projects In Punjab

Lahore:  Al-Qaeda and TTP groups could carry out attacks on the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in Punjab said the intelligence agencies to the authorities concerned.

The intelligence reports warned the authorities about the threat and have recommended increasing the security of CPEC projects Punjab and restricting their movements at night.

Al-Qaeda (Ilyas Kashmiri Group), TTP (Tariq Geedar Group) and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi are the main terrorist organizations which can launch the attacks on those working on the CPEC.

It was added that all these mentioned groups are said to be operating with the aid and abetment of Indian intelligence agency, RAW, and Afghan security service, NDS, from Kandahar, Spin Boldak, Nangarhar, Kunar, Paktia, Paktika, Nooristan and Helmand.

It was said that India would try to antagonize Pakistan in an unconventional warfare which would increase terror operations through its proxies which are operating from Afghanistan to calm the sentiments of their people who have falsely been told that Pakistan was involved in the Uri attack that took place in Indian occupied Kashmir.
