It Is A National Duty To Build CPEC: COAS

Rawalpindi: The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif made a speech on the occasion of Defense day regarding counter terrorism and the success of the Zarb-e-Azb Operation.

He said that, “Operation Zarb-e-Azb is crucial for our existence and we will go to any length to win for the sake of national security.” He also added that Kashmir is very important for Pakistan and any solution of Kashmir dispute is possible only through pursuance of United Nation resolution.

The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was quoted as the best example of all-weather friendship with China. General Raheel said that the project held the potential mainstay in national economy and vowed that pressure from any foreign powers against the CPEC will not be put up with.

He added that, “It is a national duty to build the CPEC on time and protect it all costs.”
