Mega Project Approved For Dir and Chitral Under CPEC
Timergara: Leaders in Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Lower Dir appreciated the federal government for approving the Dir-Chitral road worth 43 billion rupees under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.
The JI leaders expressed their gratitude to the Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal for approving the project.
In a press conference at Timergara Press Club, JI Lower Dir Chief Aizazul Mulk Afkari, JI leaders Hafiz Yaqoobur Rahman, Malik Sher Bahadar, member district council Muhammad Nazir Khan and others said that the project would bring an economic revolution in the region.
The project includes a 37 kilometers road from Chakdarra to Timergara, a 40 kilometers road from Timergara to Upper Dir and another road which is 46 kilometers from Upper Dir to Chitral.
