Pak Navy Prepared To Deal With Any Threat Against CPEC: Vice Chief Of Naval Staff

Karachi: The Vice Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Khan Hasham Bin Saddique HI(M) visited the coastal are which includes Turbat, Makran, Jiwani and Ormara to overlook the operational readiness of Pakistan Navy (PN) units exercising in the area.

In his visit he was briefed on the operational readiness of the troops and associated security aspects at the Gwadar Port, mainly with respect to CPEC project to thwart any conventional or asymmetric threats, said an ISPR statement issued.

He said that the Pakistan Navy was committed to ensure defense through sea of vital maritime infrastructure and protection of the maritime interests of Pakistan against all enemies.

Pakistan Navy is prepared to provide security to CPEC and respond to any threat against CPEC.

Vice Admiral Khan Hasham Bin Saddique also appreciated the hard work, devotion and high morale of the men working to defend the maritime frontiers of the country.

He overall expressed his satisfaction on the operations of the Pakistan Navy in the area.
