Pakistan Naval Ship SAIF Due In Sri Lanka On A Goodwill Visit

ISLAMABAD, Nov 02 (APP):As part of a goodwill port call and to further strengthen the with , a Naval ship PNS SAIF is scheduled to arrive at Colombo port on 4-day visit from November 5 to 8.According to message feom Colombo, during its four-day stay in Sri Lanka, the ship is scheduled to undertake a number of activities including professional interactions, sports and training sessions as well as a reception on November 6. Navy Ship (PNS) SAIF is a SWORD class F22P Frigates of Chinese origin.                                                                                            It is equipped with state-of-the-art weapons,sensors and machinery, making it capable of undertaking a variety of maritime operations.Relations between Pakistan and Sri Lanka are multifaceted. There is a great deal of commonality in their culture and tradition. Contemporary relations are characterized by mutual trust, credibility,understanding and good will at all levels.
