Chairman renowned Chinese company Harbin Electric International, Goa Yu met Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday. Talking to the Chairman of the company, the Chief Minister said that Pakistan highly valued cooperation of China in energy sector. He said that work was being carried out speedily on energy projects throughout the country whereas federal and Punjab government were working on three gas-based power projects being set up with their own resources. He said that 3600-megawatt electricity would be generated on completion of gas-based power projects. Load-shedding would decrease substantially and cheap electricity would be provided to the masses, he added. Senior authorities of Chinese company, Chairman Planning & Development, Chairman Quaid-e-Azam Solar Park, Ch. Arif Saeed and concerned officials were also present on the occasion.
