Hyderabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) leader senator Nehal Hashmi said that some political leaders are trying to deflect the nation’s attention from Indian-held Kashmir issue and the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
In a press conference he said that, “Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri are trying to divert the attention of the nation from Kashmir and sabotage the CPEC.”
Hashmi criticised the march of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) towards Raiwind and called it a provocative move. He said that, “The confrontational politics is not good for the country. On the issues of the national interest, the personal interests should be put aside.”
The Indian atrocities in the occupied Kashmir were condemned and it was said that innocent people were being killed by the Indian armed forces. He said, “Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a coward person.”
The senator also advised Imran Khan to wait for the next general elections and win mandate of the people if he wanted to become the prime minister.
