Technical & Vocational Training Institutes To Be Set Up Along The Route Of CPEC

CPEC Route

ISLAMABAD(APP): Six modern technical and vocational training institutes to be set up along the route of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) through collaboration between Pakistan and China.

The institutions would be established in Gilgit, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Dera Ismael Khan, Quetta and Gwadar, official sources in the National Commission for Vocational Training said.

The CPEC would not only open the new vista of progress and development in Pakistan but also create a number of employment opportunities for Pakistani youth. The skilled workers would play a pivotal role in poverty alleviation and socio-economic uplift of the country, the sources added.

Pakistan needs to pay more in its vocational/technical education so that we should become more competent in case of free trade on CEPEC and thus can minimized the threat of trade deficit by providing quality manpower to our indegenous industry.
