Those Who Oppose CPEC Are Traitors Of Pakistan: President Tehreek-e-Istaqlal

Sadiqabad: The Tehreek-e-Istaqlal President Rehmat Khan Wardag said that the opposition should jointly present a resolution in the National Assembly against the corruption being carried out in different forms all over the country. He added that the Parliament should set death sentences as punishment for those who are involved in corruption.
He termed the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) as a game changer in the region, he emphasized that all political parties should agree on CPEC so that it is completed on time. He said, “If the CPEC is completed in 2018, it would bring an economic revolution in the region.”

He referred to people who oppose CPEC as traitors of Pakistan. The government and opposition should develop mutual understanding about the game-changer project, and it is the duty of the government to alleviate the opposition’s concerns over its route so that all projects can be completed on time.
